Meet Apostle Taylor
Apostle Merlin W. Taylor is the Founder and CEO of “HIS WORD Ministries Intl” located in Birmingham, AL. Serving alongside of him, was his wife of 30 years, Prophetess & Pastor Patricia J. Taylor before her passing in October of 2018. She founded H.E.R.S (Honoring Every Resurrected Sister), an outreach ministry that ministered to hurting women. They are the proud parents of four children; Elijah, Elisha, Victoria & Jesse. Three grandchildren Jeremiah, Jadon, and Kaylee. They were actively involved together in ministry for over 32 years, serving in all facets before founding “HIS WORD Ministries” in March of 2000 and Kingdom Connection Ministerial Fellowship in 2009.
Now Apostle Taylor continues the work & Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies / Religion & Biblical Counseling, Ministry and Leadership. He is a certified member of the AACA (American Association of Christian Counselors) and the NAACC (North American Association of Christian Counselors). Apostle Taylor also holds certification in Pastoral Counseling, Addiction / Recovery, Alcoholism, Grief and Loss.
Apostle Taylor is also a Chaplain / Intake Supervisor with the Salvation ARC and has served in this capacity since 1993 seeing men restored to a God quality of life. His messages will establish you in your identity, purpose and destiny, so that you may fulfill “The Will of your Father which is in heaven”.
He has served on various Boards throughout the City. Through his Community, Civic and personal involvement he has engaged the fight of change to help educate the people on “There is a Cause” to speak out. His mandate is to be a Voice for those who are in bondage & cry out for help. We are a multi-faceted, multicultural, nondenominational, New Testament Ministry, founded upon the doctrine of Apostles & Prophets, established in His Word and called to disciple men, women and children of all races, creed and color.
